Welcome to the Baltimore Fashion Market: Pop up series hosted by the Baltimore Museum of Industry (BMI). The market provides a downtown fashion shopping experience that aims to reduce fashion waste globally. This fashion market is produced by The Baltimore Office of Promotion and The Arts in collaboration with BMI.

Sustainable Fashion Week: US

We have also teamed up with Sustainable Fashion Week U.S. (SFW) to provide programming aligned with the markets initiatives. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a unique swapping experience. Swap Across America. This program is produced by Sfw. They will customize the experience in collaboration with the market.

Fashion market attendees are encouraged to bring 3 to 5 pieces of fashion merchandise/items to the market, which will be reviewed by the Sustainable Fashion Week U.S. staff. Upon review, participants will be provided with tickets representing their swappable items.

Participants can then request to swap their merchandise with vendors' offered swappable items. Vendors have the discretion to accept or deny a swap and are not obligated to participate in the swapping programming. This initiative provides a platform for sustainable fashion practices and encourages the exchange of pre-loved fashion items.

Participants will also have the opportunity to have their swappable, swapped, and/or purchased items up-cycled by our team up-cycling artist.

Sustainable Style: Resurrected! A Wearable Art Experience:
